About Alexa
Alexa Rose Weiss is our daughter, little sister, granddaughter, niece, cousin and friend to SO many. She was a smart, funny, creative and very much loved girl who, unfortunately, was diagnosed with a brain tumor shortly before her third birthday in 2010. Throughout the next 7 years, Alexa underwent multiple surgeries, chemotherapy, 60+ rounds of radiation & multiple clinical trials at Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago. Despite all she endured, Alexa lived an amazing “normal” life filled with dance, gymnastics, overnight camp, travel, amazing friends and all the things that little girls enjoy. Devastatingly, on April 19, 2017, Alexa passed away just a few days before her 10th birthday. We love and miss her every single day and are constantly reminded that Love Never Ends.
